Documentation

Everything you need to get up and running with GuardSuite endpoint security tools.

Getting Started

1 Create an Account

Go to app.guardsuite.tech/register, enter your company name, email, and password. Select the products you want to use, then set up two-factor authentication with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).

2 Create an API Key

After logging in, navigate to API Keys in the sidebar. Click Create Key and select which products the key should cover. Copy and save the key immediately — it is shown only once and cannot be retrieved later.

3 Download the Agent

Each product has its own lightweight Windows agent. Download agents from your dashboard or directly from the URLs below:

WiFiGuardhttps://wifiguard-dl.guardsuite.tech/stable/wifiguard-agent.exe

4 Install the Agent

Run the installer on each Windows endpoint as Administrator:

{product}-agent.exe --install --api-url https://{product}-api.guardsuite.tech --api-key YOUR_KEY --company "Your Company"

Replace {product} with the product name (e.g., portguard) and YOUR_KEY with the API key you created in step 2. The agent installs as a Windows service and starts automatically.

5 Verify

Machines appear in your dashboard within 60 seconds of agent installation. You can confirm the agent is running by checking Windows Services for the GuardSuite {Product} Agent service.

Agent Requirements

Uninstalling

To remove an agent from an endpoint, run the following as Administrator:

{product}-agent.exe --uninstall

This stops the service, removes the service registration, and cleans up agent files. The machine will stop reporting to your dashboard immediately.
